Good to know
Kemer is the coast southwest of Antalya, where the Beydağları mountains come down to the water and the beaches are grey pebble rather than sand. Beldibi and Göynük are the first villages past the city, Kemer town with its marina sits in the middle of the strip, and Kiriş, Çamyuva and Tekirova follow one after another, each a little quieter than the last. South of Tekirova the resort coast stops: Olimpos, Çıralı and Adrasan are single valleys and bays reached by their own roads, with small pensions instead of hotel blocks. Pine forest, cool clear water and walking country draw a different holiday crowd than the flat sand east of the airport.
Every transfer from Antalya Airport to this coast crosses the city first, on the ring road north of the centre, then drops past Konyaaltı onto the D400 running southwest. From there the highway is cut into the mountainside above the sea, curving through short tunnels with the water appearing and vanishing on the right. Beldibi, the nearest address, is 45 km and about 45 minutes; Kemer itself is 61 km and roughly 55 minutes; Adrasan, the farthest, is 108 km and around 90 minutes. Summer afternoons cost time around the city rather than on the coast road, and night arrivals run clear, though the unlit bends are taken more slowly.
The differences within the region are real ones. Beldibi and Göynük are quiet pebble coves close to Antalya; Kemer town has the marina, the restaurants and enough to walk to after dinner; Kiriş and Çamyuva are hotel strips along the highway where the evening ends at the hotel; Tekirova is large resorts set well back in the forest. Olimpos, Çıralı and Adrasan are small, seasonal and reached by long descending side roads that add twenty minutes at either end. That matters most going home: for a morning departure from the southern bays a pick-up three and a half hours before the flight is normal, rather less from Beldibi.

Kemer transfer — frequently asked questions
How long does a transfer from Antalya Airport to Kemer take?
Kemer town is 61 km from the airport, which is about 55 minutes when the road is clear. The route crosses Antalya on the ring road and then follows the coastal D400. Addresses further south take longer: roughly 65 minutes to Tekirova, 80 to Olimpos and Çıralı, and about 90 to Adrasan.
How do you get from Antalya Airport to Kemer without a transfer?
Public routes go through Antalya rather than along the coast, so you travel into the city first and then take a bus on to Kemer town. From there the villages need a local dolmuş or a taxi, and Olimpos, Çıralı and Adrasan sit well off the highway with little running late at night. With luggage or a late landing, a direct car is usually the simpler option.
Which resort should I choose on the Kemer coast?
Beldibi and Göynük suit people who want quiet coves and easy trips into Antalya. Kemer town is the liveliest and the only one you can really explore on foot. Kiriş, Çamyuva and Tekirova are hotel-based and get quieter southwards, while Olimpos, Çıralı and Adrasan are small and simple, made for walkers rather than resort holidays.
Is the coast road to Kemer difficult at night?
It is a surfaced two-lane highway with short tunnels, not a mountain pass, but it bends continuously and parts of it have no lighting. Drivers ease off on that section, so a night run takes about as long as a daytime one. The driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign and the flight is tracked, so a delayed landing does not change the route.
How early should the return transfer to the airport leave?
Work back from the drive: about 55 minutes from Kemer, 65 from Tekirova, 90 from Adrasan, plus the check-in time your airline asks for. From Kemer and the villages north of it, three hours before departure is the usual pick-up; from Olimpos, Çıralı and Adrasan allow three and a half, since the side road down to the coast is slow in the dark.
