The way out is short at this end of Beldibi: through the gate, a few dozen metres along Atatürk Caddesi, then up Şehitler Caddesi to the D400 and north into the tunnels. The 45 km back to the terminal normally take the same 45 minutes as the arrival, and the cliff road changes little with the hour. What does change is the Antalya end. From Konyaaltı onwards, Akdeniz Bulvarı and the ring road fill with commuter traffic on weekday mornings, so a pickup between seven and nine deserves a margin on top of the usual sum.

Because the hotel sits right by the junction, the driver does not have to work along the village street to reach you, and that keeps an early pickup predictable even in high season. A family stay also tends to send people home with more than they brought: inflatables, beach toys, an extra bag from the market. Count the cases on the last evening and pass the number on, because a larger car is easy to arrange the day before and impossible to conjure at the gate on the morning itself.

• Work back from the departure time: 45 minutes of road, the check-in time your airline asks for, and a margin if the pickup falls in the Antalya rush between seven and nine.
• Child seats are needed on the way home as much as on the way in; ask for them on the return booking as well, so they are in the car when it reaches number 101.
• If the flight is moved, change the pickup through the same booking rather than at reception, and the car is simply reset to the new hour.
