The last morning here has one quirk: the sea is on the other side of a road. • Göynük lies nearer the airport than Kemer, Kiriş or Tekirova, which means the recommended pickup from here is later than from those resorts for the same flight; use the time we give you rather than one a neighbour from further south was told.
• A separate bag for damp swimwear and sandy shoes, packed last and placed on top in the boot, keeps the suitcases shut and the dry clothes reachable at the terminal.
