Heading back, the car leaves Turizm Bulvarı, crosses the village to the D400 and turns north; it passes Kiriş and the Kemer bypass and then runs past Göynük and Beldibi to the tunnels. The 67 km to the terminal take around 60 minutes, one of the longer runs in the Kemer area, so the last few kilometres through Konyaaltı and onto Antalya's ring road deserve respect if the departure falls on a weekday morning, when commuters join the same lanes.

Çamyuva is a real village, and on the departure morning the car simply comes to the hotel entrance on Turizm Bulvarı. Have the cases packed the evening before and be in the lobby a few minutes before the pickup time agreed at booking. Check out early if reception allows it. For a flight before dawn, the village is still asleep and the drive to the highway takes only moments, which helps when the margin is tight.

• Plan backwards: 60 minutes of driving, the check-in window your airline sets, and some spare time for the Antalya ring road.
• If the group has changed since arrival, or the luggage has grown, let us know before the return leg so the right size of vehicle is sent.
• For a pickup before the village is awake, buy water and snacks for the drive the previous evening.
