Antalya Airport to Olympos Lodge transfer
Olympos Lodge is a garden hotel of 14 rooms at the southern end of Çıralı bay, below Mount Tahtalı, the Olympos of antiquity. A stream running down to the sea forms its boundary, and the remains of ancient Olympos begin on the far bank, so this is the last address on the Çıralı side before the ruins. The garden opens onto the pebble shore and the Lycian Way passes by the lodge. Note that the Olympos Beach and Olympos Ancient City pages on this site are reached by a different road, on the other side of that stream.
The transfer is 94 km and takes about 80 minutes. The first part is the coast highway out of Antalya through Beldibi and Göynük, past Kemer and Tekirova; after that the road leaves the sea and climbs through pine forest. At the Çıralı junction a narrow road winds down some seven kilometres of bends to sea level, and the car then crosses the village towards the southern end of the bay. Lights are kept low along this shore in turtle nesting season, so a night arrival here is slow and deliberate rather than quick.
