Staying in a villa adds one step to the departure morning. The hotel's shuttle links the villas with the main building, and that hop has to happen, with your cases, before the car is due rather than at the pickup hour itself. With an early flight, settle the bill the evening before so that, once you are across, reception and the car are all that stand between you and the road. Guests in the main building skip the hop, but the same rule about the bill applies.

Leaving the hotel, the car takes Turizm Bulvarı and the side road back across the village to the D400, then turns north. Past Kiriş and around Kemer the highway collects coaches and hotel traffic from mid-morning onwards; before dawn it is close to empty. Then come Göynük, Beldibi, the tunnels and the drop to Konyaaltı, and finally the ring road to the terminal. Across the whole 69 km the 60 minutes are realistic at night and on quiet mornings, while a midday departure in July deserves some extra room.

• Ask for the pickup at the main entrance even if you slept in a villa, and say so at booking, so the driver is not waiting on the wrong side of the road.
• Repeat Turizm Bulvarı 23 on the return booking: several hotel entrances share that boulevard, and after dark they are hard to tell apart.
• If your flight leaves very early, check the shuttle's first run with reception the evening before, and plan the walk to the main building with the luggage if it starts too late.
