The trip back starts in the side street. The car comes into 519 Sokak to the door, and from there it is a minute out onto Atatürk Bulvarı and back north to the D400, without going anywhere near the marina streets. That matters on summer evenings, when the southern end of the boulevard fills with people walking down to the harbour, and it is part of why the 55 minutes holds well from this address. The rest is the coast road north through Göynük and Beldibi, then Konyaaltı and the ring road to the terminals.

A town address makes awkward flight times easier. With a noon checkout and an evening departure, the hours in between can be spent in the cafés along the boulevard, and the car still collects you at the hotel at the agreed time. Before dawn the side street and the boulevard are quiet and the drive runs to the minute; later on a summer morning, delivery vans for the shops and hotels are the most likely thing to slow the first few hundred metres. Ask reception to keep your cases until the pickup if you check out early.
