Antalya Airport to Adrasan transfer
Two headlands close the bay at Adrasan, one at either end, which is why the water stays flat here when the sea further north is choppy. The village is essentially one road behind the beach: family pensions, a few small hotels, fish restaurants, a river mouth at one end and boats drawn up on the shingle waiting for day trips out to Suluada and the Gelidonya lighthouse. It sits south of Olimpos, and a transfer from Antalya Airport to Adrasan, 108 km away, is the normal way in. Nothing here was built for crowds, and the season is short.
A hundred and eight kilometres and about 90 minutes make this one of the longer runs from the airport. Adrasan is not on the coast road: the highway leaves the sea behind Tekirova and spends the middle of the journey in the mountains, high enough that the air cools and then warms again before you reach salt water. The turning is signed, and from it a side valley falls through pine and scrub to the bay — thirteen kilometres or so of bends, with a soft edge in places. The last of it runs level beside the stream and ends at the beach.
