Club Jovia Park to Antalya Airport: return transfer & taxi

The departure runs the opposite way to the arrival, and that matters on this side of the road. The entrance gives onto the southbound lanes of the divided D400, so a car leaving for Antalya has to get across to the northbound carriageway, or turn round, before it can head north. It costs a minute or two at most, and it is the reason the first stretch of the departure is not simply the arrival in reverse. The pickup point is the hotel entrance on the highway, not a spot down by the beach.

Once turned, the 45 km back to the terminal take about 45 minutes on a normal day: the tunnels and the cliff road first, then Konyaaltı and the Antalya ring road, which is where traffic actually builds on weekday mornings and summer evenings. Beldibi is the nearest of the Kemer-coast villages to the airport, so the pickup can be set later here than from Kemer or Tekirova for the same flight, leaving time for breakfast and a last swim.

• Wait at the main entrance by the highway with your luggage; the car collects you there, not from the beach section across the road.
• Give the hotel's full name, Club Jovia Park, when you book: written as just 'Jovia', it is easily confused on a booking form with the Kemer-town hotel that used the Club Jovia name.
• For an evening flight, any buffer belongs to the Antalya ring road rather than to the coast road, which moves steadily at most hours.
