The return starts at the hotel entrance on Sahil Caddesi, and the car needs a minute or two to get back to the D400 before the long northward run begins. Sixty minutes is the planning figure for the 67 km, and the part most likely to stretch it is the city at the end rather than the coast.

Kiriş lies beyond Kemer town, so for the same flight the car comes here earlier than to Beldibi or Göynük; fix the hour with the booking rather than on the morning itself. Say how many bags are travelling: a family that came with two cases often leaves with more, and the vehicle is chosen by the luggage as much as by the head count. Have the cases down at reception a little before the agreed time, so the boot is loaded in a moment and the drive starts on schedule.
