Antalya Airport to Kiriş transfer
Kiriş has no square, no market street and no centre to speak of — it is a ribbon of hotels and apartment blocks about two kilometres long, pressed between the D400 and the sea just south of Kemer. Behind it the slope rises so steeply and so thick with pine that the beach loses the sun early in the afternoon. Guests booking a transfer from Antalya Airport to Kiriş usually want the same thing: shingle a few steps from the room, with the marina and restaurants of Kemer ten minutes up the road when they feel like company.
At 67 km the run takes roughly 60 minutes and uses only two roads. The ring road carries you around Antalya; the D400 does everything after that. The part worth watching begins past Konyaaltı, where the carriageway is cut into the mountainside above the water and threads a sequence of tunnels. Kiriş follows immediately after Kemer, its hotels reached by short lanes that drop off the highway towards the shore. Summer afternoons are the slow time on this road; land at midnight and the coast is empty the whole way down.
