Departure day starts with a short run from Oba to the ring road, which lets the car skirt Alanya instead of crossing it, and that is the main advantage of staying on this side of town. From there it is the long coastal run west past Konaklı, Avsallar and Manavgat, and the 132 km usually take about 110 minutes. What stretches the clock is not the hotel's own streets but the summer evening traffic around the resort towns further along, so an evening flight deserves a little more margin than a dawn one.

The car pulls up on the hotel side of the road, at the entrance on Atatürk Caddesi, not across the underpass where the beach is. Anyone swimming on the final morning should leave enough time to come back through the passage, rinse off the salt, and bring the luggage down to reception. The pickup time is the moment the car stands at that entrance; work it out backwards from the flight, adding the hours your airline wants you at the terminal.
