Antalya Airport to Kargıcak transfer
Kargıcak starts at sea level and spends the rest of itself climbing. The D400 passes along the bottom, by the beach and a handful of shops; above it the slope is worked in terraces of citrus and greenhouses, and higher still stand the villas and residence blocks, each row looking over the roofs below it to the water. The village lies east of Mahmutlar, 145 km from Antalya Airport, which makes a transfer from Antalya Airport to Kargıcak one of the longer runs on this coast. People come up here for the view and for the quiet: the sea is close, the noise of the hotel strip is not.
Two hours is what 145 km comes to, and it is worth knowing what that means before you fly. The first 90 minutes are comfortable dual carriageway; after Alanya the road narrows and bends along the shore, and the last part climbs lanes that were laid out for the terraces, not for a minibus with luggage. A short stop somewhere around Manavgat or Alanya is normal on this run — ask for it. People book it anyway, because the alternative after a night flight is a bus, a change and a taxi with all the cases.
