Half a day is what most of them take, and the half that works is the early one. These are open places: no roof, no shade worth relying on, stone that holds the afternoon heat, and at the canyons a walk at each end of wherever the car stops. Whether the car pulls out of a Side or Belek hotel early in the morning or late in it is what decides how the visit feels, and through July and August that stops being optional.

There is no rank outside a ruin. Whatever brought you there is what leaves with you, so the waiting is something to settle while booking rather than to hope for on the day. If two of them lie in the same direction, say so then as well: Perge at 12 km and Aspendos at 40 can be taken in one morning, and so can Side's own pair at 65, which is a different booking from two separate ones. Seasons, closing days and tickets belong to each site and they change — check those with the site before the collection hour is fixed.
