The way back reverses the arrival: east along the Lara side of the city, then north past Altıntaş into the airport approach, 15 km and about 20 minutes. Because Bülent Ecevit Bulvarı is a commuter road between the centre and the hotel zone, the hour you leave matters more here than at a resort gate. Early mornings are normally clear; from late afternoon, the same lanes fill with city traffic heading home, and a departure then deserves a cushion.

On a short city stay the flight is often not the first of the day, and checkout may come hours before you need to leave. Book the car for the hour your airline wants you at the terminal rather than for checkout. If you would rather fill the gap at Lara beach or in Kaleiçi, the driver can collect you there instead, provided your luggage is with you and the address is in the booking.
