For the departure, start from the flight and count backwards: 80 minutes for the 95 km, then check-in and security at Antalya, which in high summer can take longer than the drive itself. Before all that comes settling the bill and getting the cases out to the entrance. Once those pieces are added up, the pickup hour more or less falls out of the sum. Give us the flight time and the airline when you book and the hour is fixed with you then; the car is at the entrance at that time, before dawn if the flight demands it.

Leaving, the hotel's position is the reverse of its advantage on arrival. It sits on the eastbound side of the boulevard and the airport lies west, and the boulevard here is a divided road, so the car first heads east and turns round at the next turning point before it can run west. From there the road runs back past the Alara zone, Kızılot and Manavgat, and the town is the one place where morning traffic deserves a margin. Gazipaşa–Alanya airport lies in the opposite direction, east beyond Alanya, so make sure the ticket says AYT before you book this leg.

• At night the D400 through Manavgat is clear and the 80 minutes hold; from mid-morning the town's traffic lights slow the run, so a midday pickup needs the larger margin.
• Leave the cases at the front desk after checkout and the last hours are free for the pier or the pool; you collect them on the way out to the car at the agreed time.
• The pickup time agreed at booking is when the car stands at the entrance; if the flight moves, send the new time and the pickup moves with it.
