Antalya Airport to Okurcalar transfer
Okurcalar marks the point where the Side coast hands over to the Alanya one, and the change is easy to see from the road: a long line of large all-inclusive complexes facing the sea, each in its own grounds with pools, gardens and a fenced stretch of beach. Most guests book a week or two, settle in and barely leave the property, which is precisely the appeal. Inland, on the other side of the highway, the original village carries on with its mosque, small shops and tea houses, quieter than the shore and close enough to walk to.
From Antalya Airport the drive runs east on the D400 coastal highway for about 94 kilometres and normally takes around 80 minutes. As far as Manavgat it crosses the flat farmland behind Serik, all greenhouses and citrus groves, and from there the road swings back towards the shore. High summer thickens the traffic around the Side and Manavgat junctions, and mid-morning check-outs can add a few minutes to the return leg. After dark the same stretch is straightforward. The flight is tracked and the driver meets you inside the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, so a late landing only moves the pick-up time.
