Antalya Airport to MySea Hotels Alara transfer
MySea Hotels Alara, formerly Polat Alara, stands in the Karaburun part of Okurcalar on 1009. Sokak, a side street on the seaward side of the D400, which crosses the village under the name Alparslan Türkeş Bulvarı. It is a second-line hotel rather than a beachfront one: Saphir Resort, Kirman Arycanda and Lycus Beach occupy the plots between it and the water, and the shore of grey sand and pebbles is a few minutes away on foot down a lane. The Water Planet aquapark is about a kilometre to the south-east, and the Alara name belongs to the river and the Seljuk castle up its valley, inland of the village.
The transfer from Antalya Airport covers 94 km and takes around 80 minutes. The D400 carries you east the whole way: past Aksu and Serik, on past Manavgat, then through Kızılağaç and Kızılot as the road settles along the coast. In Okurcalar the car turns right off the boulevard, towards the sea, into the streets of Karaburun, so arriving from Antalya the hotel lies on your own side of the highway and there is no oncoming traffic to cross. A driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name and keeps an eye on the flight, so a delay changes only the moment you meet.
