Because the hotel is at the castle end of town, the departure crosses Alanya before it leaves it: back up Damlataş Caddesi to the main road, then west through Saray and the long Kızlarpınarı stretch lined with beach hotels. Early in the morning that part goes quickly; later in the day it shares the road with coaches making their own pickups. Past the last hotels the coast road heads for Konaklı and Manavgat, and the 126 km to the terminal take about 105 minutes in all.

Seral Sokak is short and lies beside one of the town's busiest sights, so the car stops briefly at the kerb rather than circling, and being in the lobby with the luggage a few minutes early keeps that stop short. For an evening flight, the 100 metres to the cave and the beach leave room for a last morning out: ask the night before whether the cases can wait at reception after checkout, and book the car for when you will actually be back and changed.
