The departure starts with a short climb: up from the entrance to the coast road that runs above the grounds, and onto the D400 westbound. There is no town to cross before the highway, so the first minutes are predictable at any hour. The slower points come later, where the road goes through Manavgat with its traffic lights and again around Serik and Aksu on the approach to Antalya.
