On departure day the car turns out of the hotel gate, climbs the half kilometre of 1023 Sokak and joins the D400 westbound for the 93 km to the terminal, about 80 minutes. Charter flights from this coast often leave early, and a pickup in the small hours has the advantage of an empty road: through Manavgat there is little but a few lorries, and the timing holds. The car pulls up at the hotel entrance at the end of the lane, so no walk up to the highway is needed.
