With 16 km between the lobby and the departure hall, the risk on this leg is not the road but over-confidence. The 20 minutes are honest at most hours; what lengthens a departure here is the terminal itself, with its high-season queues at check-in, security and passport control. Work backwards from the time your airline wants you at the desk, add the short drive, and the pickup hour falls out by itself. On summer changeover days the Kundu hotels send coaches out along Lara Caddesi together, which is the one thing on this road that can add a few minutes.

Since the hotel is set back from the beach, the departure morning has a built-in detail: a last swim means a shuttle ride or a walk of roughly half a kilometre each way, plus time to dry off and pack. Families often keep the final morning for the pool instead and keep the beach bags packed from the night before. The car pulls up at the main entrance on the landward side of the road, so cases and pushchairs go straight from reception into the boot with no road to cross.
