Leaving, the side street works in your favour. The car comes down Şarburun Caddesi to the gate, and when you set off it climbs back to the same traffic lights, where the junction lets it turn left straight onto the westbound carriageway instead of running on to look for somewhere to turn. From there the drive is the arrival in reverse, by Kızılot and Manavgat, then across the plain past Serik and Aksu to the airport: 95 km and about 80 minutes, with the terminal's own queues still to come on top.

Before dawn Şarburun Caddesi is quiet, but it is not the Mylome's alone: cars and coaches for the hotels out on the headland use the same approach from the lights, and in the dark the gates are easy to mix up. That is why the pickup should carry the full hotel name as well as the street, and why it pays to be at reception with the cases a few minutes before the agreed time: the driver then finds you at the right door instead of hunting for it.
