Antalya Airport to Michell Hotel & Spa transfer
Michell Hotel & Spa opened in April 2014 in Kestel, on the eastern side of Alanya, and the hotel puts itself about five kilometres from the town centre, on the lower slopes of the Taurus. That height is the whole character of the place: from the hillside the view runs back across Alanya to the castle on its headland, which the hotel itself names among its views. Kestel below is largely residential, with apartment blocks, supermarkets and a public shoreline, and behind it opens the Dim river valley, the usual road to Dim Cave.
From Antalya Airport the transfer is 134 km, about 110 minutes. The D400 carries the car east for most of it, past Manavgat and the long chain of resort villages, and then, instead of skirting the town, cuts straight through the middle of Alanya, where the highway turns into a city boulevard with traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and buses. Beyond the centre it runs on to Kestel, and the final minutes leave the coast road to climb towards the hotel. A driver holding your name on a card is waiting in the arrivals hall when you come through.
