On the way out, the car needs only a couple of hundred metres of side streets before it turns right onto the D400, already pointing west, with no lanes to cross. The rest is the arrival in reverse, and two places decide how long it takes: the ring road around Alanya and, an hour later, the town stretch of Manavgat. Both slow down in daytime and between them they decide whether the 142 km take the usual 115 minutes or longer. Before dawn both are clear; from late morning to early evening, allow a margin.

Because the drive is close to two hours, the pickup here comes earlier than guests who have stayed in Side or Belek may expect. Work it out from the departure time: 115 minutes on the road, the check-in window your airline sets, and a further cushion for daytime traffic. An early-morning flight usually means leaving Kargıcak in the middle of the night, and that is better discovered when you book than at reception on the last evening. Check that the luggage count still matches what you arrived with.
