From Tosmur the departure is the full coast in reverse, and the clock matters more than anything else. Count 110 minutes of driving for the 132 km, add the time your airline wants you at the check-in desk, then a margin: a mid-morning flight puts the pickup around breakfast, and an early one puts it in the middle of the night. The ring road helps at the start, since the car climbs away from the coast and round the back of Alanya without touching the harbour streets.

The slow places lie further west. On a night departure none of that applies and the road is quiet almost all the way.
