TUI MAGIC LIFE Jacaranda to Antalya Airport: return transfer & taxi

Check-out at Jacaranda is by noon. A later one can be booked on site for a fee, if a room is free, and between the two that settles most of the timing for an afternoon or evening flight: with a late check-out the pickup can follow the room, without one there is an afternoon to fill between noon and the car. Either way, the pickup hour is fixed at booking and worked out backwards from your airline's check-in deadline; from a room at the beach end of the grounds, add the few minutes it takes to wheel the luggage up to the gate.

The way back starts on the straight road north between the greenhouses to the lights at Gündoğdu, where the car turns left onto the D400; from there it is the arrival in reverse, over the Köprüçay, past Serik, the Belek junctions and Aksu, and off at the airport exit before the city begins. Westbound, the slow hours are late morning on changeover days, when hotel coaches from the whole Side coast are on the same carriageway. Out of season, with the coast quiet, 50 minutes is close to what the drive takes at any hour.

• If you want the late check-out, ask at reception early in the stay: it is arranged on site, costs extra and depends on what is free that day.
• Pickups are at the barrier on the landward side, so from a room near the beach set off with the cases a few minutes before the agreed hour, not at it.
• Arriving on the package's shared transfer does not tie you to it for the journey home: the departure can be booked as a private transfer on its own.
