The car comes back to the hotel along the same side road, and the place to meet it is the main entrance rather than the verge of the D400, where stopping in the dark is neither safe nor quick. If your flight leaves in the evening, it is the flight and not the checkout hour that sets the pickup: work back from departure, add the check-in window your airline asks for, and give the hours in between to the beach outside.
