Dizalya Palm Garden Hotel to Antalya Airport: return transfer & taxi

The northern entrance pays off on the way home. From the gate the car has only about half a kilometre of village streets to the D400, turns west in Konaklı and then unwinds the coast in reverse: Türkler, Avsallar, İncekum, Okurcalar, then the long run through Manavgat and across the Serik plain to Aksu. Those 116 km take about 95 minutes on an ordinary day, but the built-up strips of Avsallar and Konaklı slow in summer when coaches and dolmuş minibuses stop along the roadside, and Manavgat adds its own delays from mid-morning onwards.

Some parties split across the two Dizalya hotels, say friends or grandparents in Club Dizalya and a family in Palm Garden. One vehicle can collect both, but only if the order of the stops is agreed at booking: the gates are a few minutes apart by road, and a driver sent to the wrong one at dawn has to find a way round. If everyone is staying here, give Palm Garden as the single pickup point and have the cases ready at the northern entrance, which is where the car will draw up.

• On the return booking put Dizalya Palm Garden, Kulak Caddesi 14; a bare Dizalya leaves room for the car to go to the beachfront gate instead.
• Check the airport on your ticket: this run is to Antalya (AYT), and flights from Gazipaşa need a different booking.
• A child seat used on the way in is not kept for the way out, so request it again on the departure leg.
