Antalya Airport to Antique Roman Palace transfer
Antique Roman Palace calls itself a museum hotel: the lobby, lounges and terraces are dressed with sculpture, busts and reliefs in the Roman manner, and it takes adults only, from sixteen. It stands at Atatürk Caddesi 31 in Oba, the district just east of Alanya's centre, with a sandy beach about 20 metres from the building and Oba's own centre some 200 metres away. The middle of Alanya is about two kilometres to the west, the castle and Damlataş Cave roughly five, and from the upper terraces the castle rock is in view across the water.
The road from Antalya Airport to the hotel measures 132 km, roughly 110 minutes. The D400 carries the whole journey: east through Aksu, Serik and Manavgat, along the coast past Okurcalar, Avsallar and Konaklı, then straight through Alanya, where the highway becomes the town's main boulevard and continues past the foot of the castle peninsula into Oba. That final crossing of the town is the slowest part of the trip. In Oba the car turns off the highway down to the seafront road, where the hotel faces the beach from the other side of the street. The driver is in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, and for the far end of the drive the hotel's name and the word Oba are all he needs.
