Leaving, the car winds back out through the Selimiye side streets and the roundabouts of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bulvarı and Yavuz Sultan Selim Bulvarı to the D400 on the Manavgat side of town, then turns west for the long straight run past Gündoğdu, Serik and Aksu. The town section is the part that varies: silent before dawn, but in daytime it shares those roundabouts with local minibuses, delivery vans and school traffic. Once on the highway the 67 km settle at around 60 minutes in normal conditions.

The car pulls up at the hotel door, and the luggage goes in there.
