Süral Garden to Antalya Airport: return transfer & taxi

On the way out, Garden's inland position is a genuine help. The car is clear of the hotel quarter almost at once, climbs the couple of kilometres through Çolaklı and joins the D400 westbound with no beach lanes to negotiate. From there it is the arrival route in reverse, 57 km and around 55 minutes to the terminal when traffic is light. The village section passes quickly before dawn and slows in mid-morning, when delivery vans stop outside the shops along it.

If your evenings were spent at the beachfront Süral hotels, remember that the departure car is booked to Garden's gate, not to theirs. Bring the luggage to Garden's lobby, or, if you would rather be collected from one of the sister hotels, name it when you book so that address goes on the driver's sheet. Families in the maisonettes often travel with more than a case each, with pushchairs, cots and toys, so give the full count when arranging the car; a larger vehicle is far easier to send than to find at five in the morning.

• Send the flight number with the departure booking: the pickup is planned backwards from it, and a schedule change by the airline is then easier for us to follow.
• Keep your phone switched on around the pickup time so the driver can reach you if he is held up on the village road.
• Settle the bill and return the keys the evening before a very early pickup; a night desk handling several departures at once can be slow.
