On the way out the order reverses: the short piece of Özal Caddesi, then İnönü Bulvarı, Süleyman Demirel Bulvarı and Sahil Caddesi back north-west to the Kumköy lights, where the car rejoins the D400 heading west. Those boulevards are lined with hotel entrances, and from mid-morning they carry coaches, hire scooters and people crossing to the beach. Before dawn they are close to empty and the highway arrives within minutes. After that the 65 km back past Gündoğdu, Serik and Aksu settle at about 60 minutes outside the summer peaks.

In the dark the Barut names on this stretch are easy to confuse, since Acanthus Cennet is only a couple of hundred metres away and carries the same group branding. The car comes to the Andız entrance on Özal Caddesi, so wait there rather than at the beach walkway. If a last swim is tempting, remember that the sea here is a walk away, not under the balcony: leave enough time to come back, shower and close the cases before the agreed hour.
