Side Sunport Hotel & Spa, formerly Side Sungate Hotel, has its postal address at Evrenseki Mahallesi, 18. Sokak No 4, in the resort village on the coast north-west of Side, and some online maps still label the building with its previous name. Agency listings put the sea 100 to 250 metres from the hotel and give it its own sandy beach, so the shore is a short walk away rather than at the edge of the garden. Side's ancient city lies roughly seven kilometres to the south-east in a straight line. It has nothing to do with Rixos Sungate, a separate hotel on the Kemer coast on the far side of Antalya.
Antalya Airport to Side Sunport Hotel & Spa is 59 km, about 55 minutes by car. The long part is all D400: east past Aksu, the Belek turnings and Serik, then through Gündoğdu, where the highway briefly becomes a boulevard with traffic lights. Roughly a kilometre beyond Gündoğdu the car turns right for the coast, runs about a kilometre and a half down towards the sea, then follows Turizm Caddesi for a little over a kilometre before a few short turns reach the hotel. That turning comes well before the Kumköy and Side junctions, so the busier strips further east stay off the route. A driver meets you in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign.
