Antalya Airport to Rixos Downtown Antalya transfer
Rixos Downtown Antalya stands on the Konyaaltı cliff top on Sakıp Sabancı Bulvarı, with Atatürk Kültür Parkı immediately alongside and the Taurus ridge closing the view west. This is the city, not a resort belt: the aquarium, the glass pyramid congress hall and the archaeological museum are minutes away on foot, and Kaleiçi and the old harbour lie east along the same cliff line. Konyaaltı beach is a few hundred metres off but well below, at the foot of the falez rather than in front of the door.
The airport sits on the far side of Antalya, so this 21 km run, around 25 minutes when the roads are clear, crosses the whole city instead of skirting it. The car comes in on the D400 and then threads through boulevards with traffic lights, tram crossings and one-way sections near the park. Arrival is kerbside on a working street rather than through a resort gate: the car pulls in, unloads and moves off. Evening rush hour and events in the park can add a quarter of an hour.
