The departure undoes the arrival step by step: out of Altınkum's side streets, east along Konyaaltı, round the north of the centre and onto the airport road. Before seven the boulevards are open and the 30 minutes are comfortable. From about half past seven on weekdays the big junctions on the northern loop fill with commuters, and a morning pickup in that window deserves a margin.

The beach being a walk away rather than across the road matters on the last day.
