Antalya Airport to Paloma Oceana transfer
Paloma Oceana is a seafront hotel in Kumköy, the resort district that stretches west from Side, and its grounds open straight onto a broad beach. What sets it apart on this strip is where it stands: at the point where the road down from the highway reaches Sahil Caddesi, the coast road, in the commercial middle of Kumköy rather than among the hotel gates further along. Market streets, small shopping arcades, restaurants and a cluster of pharmacies start a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and Side's ancient city is about 5 km south-east along the coast road.
The transfer from Antalya Airport covers 61 km, about 55 minutes on the road. Nearly all of it is highway: the D400 runs east past Aksu, the Belek turnings, Serik, Gündoğdu and Çolaklı, and the car leaves it at the Side turning, a few kilometres short of Manavgat — the same exit that serves the old town. A kilometre and a half further on, just before that road becomes Sahil Caddesi, it makes two short turns to the hotel, so hardly any of the journey is spent creeping along the resort strip. At the airport end, look for the driver holding a card with your name in the arrivals hall.
