The way out reverses the way in: north up Erhan Demir Bulvarı to Turizm Caddesi, left along it for about a kilometre, then up the local road to the D400 and west towards Serik and the airport. The boulevard and Turizm Caddesi are the only slow part, and only when the neighbouring resorts are swapping guests; before dawn the car is on the highway within minutes. After that the 58 km run is dual carriageway almost to the terminal, and 55 minutes is a fair allowance outside the summer peak.

With Alba Resort only a few dozen metres away, the departure booking should name Numa Club Side and Erhan Demir Bulvarı together, so nobody is left waiting at a neighbour's barrier at five in the morning. If the hotel grants a late checkout or the airline moves your flight, tell us the new departure time directly. The pickup is worked out from the flight, adding the drive of about 55 minutes to whatever check-in margin your airline asks for, which in high season is commonly around three hours.

• Children's seats booked for the arrival are not carried over automatically; ask for them again on the departure leg and give the children's ages.
