Antalya Airport to Manavgat transfer
Manavgat is the district town a few kilometres inland from Side, built along the river of the same name, and it serves as the administrative centre for this whole stretch of coast. It is a working Turkish town rather than a holiday village: government offices, a bus station, hospitals, banks and a large weekly market that pulls visitors down from the surrounding hotels. The waterfall on the northern edge is its best-known sight, and boats leave from the bridges in the centre for trips upstream and down. Many people stay here for the prices and for being close to beach and mountains at once.
From Antalya Airport the route is the D400 coastal highway heading east, the same road that serves Belek and Side; Manavgat lies a little beyond them, about 72 km from the terminal, which works out at roughly 65 minutes. The scenery is flat the whole way: fields, greenhouses and citrus groves, with the Taurus range rising away to the left. Only the final turning takes you off the highway and into the town's own streets. Midsummer traffic thickens at the river bridge, and market day more so; after midnight the car reaches the centre without stopping.
