Antalya to Manavgat private transfer

Nobody travels from Antalya to Manavgat for a holiday; they travel because someone or something is there. The long-distance coaches from Konya, Ankara and İzmir end at the city's terminal, and from there a flat rented for the season, a house belonging to family or a season's work on this part of the coast is still 72 kilometres east. City residents make the same journey for a wedding, a funeral or a week with grandparents. And in between there are the people who go out for a day and go out early: the market first, the waterfall afterwards, lunch on a platform above the current, and home before the evening builds.

This is the whole eastern D400, from a stretch that is still a city boulevard to a bridge over a river. The airport perimeter, Aksu, Serik, the Belek exits, Boğazkent, and then the plain that carries the town's name, with the Taurus wall standing well back and the delta laid out between: pomegranate and maize, arcs of sprinkler water, packing sheds at the field gates. Seventy-two kilometres, an hour and five minutes. Distance is not what decides that figure — the Antalya end at rush hour, and in summer the resort exits, take back whatever the open middle gave you. The turn into town comes after the bridge.

• Seventy-two kilometres each way is most of a day once the return is counted, so a market-and-waterfall trip is worth starting before eight.
• The last five minutes are the town's own streets, so a house number and a neighbourhood matter more here than anything on the highway did.
• In July the resort exits at Belek and Side are where an hour becomes an hour and a half, and nothing about the road itself explains it.
• If the reason for going is family, say how many are coming back with you — the return from Manavgat is often a passenger or two heavier than the outbound.
