On departure morning the first part is the reverse of the last: through the pines along Acısu and back up through Manavgat's southern streets to the D400. That town section is the one that varies with the clock, quiet before six, busier from mid-morning when buses, delivery vans and the market traffic of Manavgat fill the junctions. Once on the highway the car heads west past the Side turning, Serik and Aksu, and the 65 minutes for the 71 km are a sound working figure outside the busiest summer Saturdays.

Grounds of 80,000 square metres mean the distance from a room to the main entrance can be a real walk with suitcases, so ask at reception the evening before how luggage is brought to the lobby and when. Fix the pickup hour when you book the transfer, counting back from your airline's check-in deadline rather than from the flight time, and add those minutes for the grounds. The car waits at the main entrance on Acısu; giving the full name and number keeps it from stopping at a neighbouring gate.
