Kadriye is the village behind the Belek golf courses, and from the city it comes with three separate reasons attached. Golfers staying in Antalya book this leg for a morning round, because the courses are out here while the flight, the meeting or the family is back there. Families come out for the theme park on the edge of the village, which fills a whole day and empties after dark. And a steady share of the traffic is not holiday at all: people who arrived in the city by coach with a Kadriye apartment taken for the month, and visitors going out to relatives who work in the resorts and live in the village behind them.
The way out is the eastbound D400, and the city ends at a fence: while the airport perimeter runs alongside on the inland side you are still in Antalya, and once it is behind you the Aksu delta takes over — flat black soil, irrigation ditches, rows of sprinklers, low tunnels under film. Thirty-five kilometres, about 35 minutes, and the two numbers match because the fast middle pays back the slow beginning. The Kadriye exit is the first of the Belek turn-offs and arrives sooner than most passengers expect. From it the road runs south into the golf belt, past the theme park, and reaches the village and its market street last of all.
- There are three addresses out here — a clubhouse, the theme park gates and the village itself — and each is reached by a different turning, so name the one you want.
- A morning round means leaving the city before the airport traffic builds, and a pickup on the far side of the centre needs another twenty minutes on top of the 35.
- The village centre has a taxi rank on its main street, which makes it the plainest landmark to be set down at or collected from.
- For a village apartment rather than a resort, send the full address when you book: the streets behind the market road are short and look alike from the highway.
