Antalya Airport to Gündoğdu transfer
Gündoğdu is a Manavgat village beside the D400, and its hotels stand about four kilometres south of it, on the shore. They form the western end of the resort strip that continues east through Çolaklı, Evrenseki and Kumköy towards Side, and the last Gündoğdu hotel stands next door to the first in Çolaklı, so the two rows read as one. In the other direction there are no more resort hotels on the coast until Lykia World at Denizyaka, beside the Köprüçay. Side's old town is about 14 km east by road, close enough for an evening out but too far to walk.
The transfer from Antalya Airport is 55 km and takes about 50 minutes. Almost all of it is on the D400, the dual carriageway that heads east through Serik and crosses the Köprüçay. At the traffic lights in Gündoğdu the car turns right and drives about four kilometres straight down to the hotel strip. The turnings for Side and Manavgat come later on the highway, so neither town is on the way, and a departure for the airport starts with those same four kilometres to the lights before it turns west.
