Departure from Evrenseki starts in the lanes between the hotels, heading north to the junction with the D400, where the car turns west for the airport. This part of the coast lies a little nearer Antalya than Kumköy or Side itself, so for the same flight the pickup here can usually be a few minutes later than from the hotels beyond the old town. The likeliest hold-up is the turn onto the highway, which the coaches of the village hotels all use when they leave in the late morning, and where a car can wait a while for a gap.

Once on the D400, the 59 km go back the way you came, through Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Serik and Aksu, and the 55 minutes hold on an ordinary day. Whatever margin you add is better spent on the check-in and passport queues inside the terminal than on the drive, which rarely needs it. The time agreed at booking is when the car stands at the hotel entrance, so there is no need to call the driver beforehand.

• If reception orders the car for you, ask them to write Commodore Elite in full; a booking under Elite alone could be read as another hotel with that word in its name.
• A late checkout fits well with an afternoon flight here, because the drive is under an hour: settle the pickup time first and then ask reception about keeping the room.
• For a pickup before dawn, settle any bills at reception the evening before, so that in the morning all that is left is to carry the bags out to the gate.
