On the departure morning the car pulls out onto the Kumköy road, joins the road up from Side and reaches the D400 at the Side junction, then turns west for the long straight run past Boğazkent, Belek, Serik and Aksu. Before dawn the town section takes only a few minutes; later in the day it is the part that fills first, with coaches collecting guests along Kumköy's streets. Allow about 55 minutes for the 63 km, and add a margin on summer changeover days.

The likeliest mix-up on the way home is between the Seaden hotels themselves: a driver given only the group name could head for Quality or Valentine, a few hundred metres away. The return booking should therefore say Seaden Corolla Hotel and carry the street, Süleyman Demirel Bulvarı. Bring the luggage to the lobby a little before the agreed hour, so loading at the door takes a minute and the car is soon on its way.

• Set the pickup when you book: take the departure time, subtract your airline's check-in window, then the 55 minutes of driving, then a little for the Kumköy streets.
• If someone in your group is staying on at a sister Seaden, book that guest a separate pickup from their own hotel rather than combining two addresses on the morning.
• The price is per car and fixed at booking, so a slow start through Side's streets costs time, not money.
