Thirty minutes to the terminal leaves room on the last morning, and many guests spend it on the beach. Here that means a shuttle in each direction, so the last swim has to end one shuttle interval before you need to be back in the lobby, not at the moment you planned to leave. Allow for the half-hour rhythm when you set the pickup, and keep dry clothes in a bag at reception so you are not unpacking a suitcase in the hall.

The car collects you at the hotel entrance on Akar Kuyu Caddesi and runs back up the Kadriye road to the D400, then west past Aksu to the airport junction, the same 29 km in reverse. With no beach-road traffic to cross, the inland start is quick. The exception is a concert night: when the X Stage empties, guests and visitors leave at once, so a late flight is better served by a car before the show ends or well after the street has cleared.

• Count back one shuttle interval from the pickup time before you leave the beach, since the car is booked for the lobby, not the sand.
• On a concert evening tell us the event date when you book, and the pickup can be set around the crowd instead of into it.
• If your party is split between family and adult rooms, agree one meeting point in the lobby and one time before the car arrives.
