Antalya Airport to Sun Beach Hill transfer

Sun Beach Hill, formerly Side Town by Z Hotels, stands at İnönü Bulvarı 7 in Side Mahallesi, the town that spreads inland of the ancient peninsula. It is not on the shore: the hotel gives the sea as about 350 m away, where it has a private beach, the centre of Side as about a kilometre off and Manavgat as six kilometres to the east. Two near-namesakes are worth separating. Sun Beach Park & Spa is a different hotel some 430 m further south, and Dream World Hill, which sounds alike, is out in Kumköy, west of the town.

From Antalya Airport it is 65 km, which takes about 60 minutes. For most of the way the car follows the D400 east across the coastal plain, past Aksu, the Belek turning and Serik, with the Taurus range standing back on the left. At the Side junction it leaves the highway and runs a short way south on the Side road into the newer town, where İnönü Bulvarı brings it to the hotel's door without any detour through the old quarter. The driver is in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign; give the flight number at booking so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the timetable.

Going back, the car takes the Side road north to the D400 and then runs west for the rest of the 65 km. On an early pickup the town streets are empty, and the whole trip fits comfortably into the hour it took on arrival. Later in the morning the junction where the Side road meets the highway can be slow in season, so give the timing a cushion if your flight leaves around midday.

Since the hotel stands back from the water, the last swim of the holiday means a walk of about 350 m each way. If the car is due around noon, plan the beach morning with time left to shower, change and close the cases before it arrives. Whether bags can be stored at reception after checkout is a question for the hotel; the driver will come to the main entrance on İnönü Bulvarı and look for you there.
