Leaving Evrenseki, the first stretch is the arrival in reverse: the local lanes, then the straight road inland for two kilometres or so up to the D400, where the car turns west for Antalya. Sitting on the near side of Side pays off on the departure morning, because there is no Manavgat crossing to queue through and no town centre before the highway. From that junction it is dual carriageway past Serik and Aksu, and in ordinary traffic the 59 km take the 55 minutes quoted.

Paperwork is the thing to check before the last day. Some tour-operator documents may still carry the hotel's earlier name, and the hotel's own pages drop the Sentido prefix; all of them lead to the same gate, but the pickup should be booked under the current name with Evrenseki beside it, so nobody looks for a sign that has been taken down. If the party or the luggage has grown since you arrived, say so before the day, so that the vehicle sent is the right size.

• Set the pickup hour by counting back from take-off: the 55 minutes of road, your airline's check-in window, and some slack for July and August traffic near Serik.
• Child seats go into the car before it leaves for Evrenseki, so request them for the departure as well as for the arrival.
• If the flight is moved after you have booked, send the new time by message; the pickup shifts with it and the fare per vehicle stays as agreed.
