Golf parties and large families often end up spread across the Gloria hotels, some here and some at Gloria Golf Resort or Gloria Serenity Resort, and on the way home that needs planning. One vehicle can collect from both places, but only if the booking names each hotel and says how many people and bags are waiting at each. Booked under the Gloria name alone, the car may be sent to an entrance where nobody is waiting, on the one morning when every minute is already spoken for.

Leaving, the part of the route worth thinking about is everything before the D400. Turizm Caddesi takes the car back west behind the hotels, round the roundabout on the edge of Belek and across the golf belt, and the Kadriye road then runs north to the highway, passing The Land of Legends on the way. Most of the time that is an open road, but when the theme park's evening show ends its car park empties onto the same road, so a late-evening pickup should be set a little earlier. West of the Kadriye junction, the D400 is the steady part of the 37 km.

• Playing a last round? Book the pickup at the Gloria Golf Club clubhouse and say whether the cases are travelling with you or waiting at the hotel.
• The Verde course shuts for maintenance on set dates during the year; if a final round is part of the plan, ask the club for the current ones before fixing the pickup at the clubhouse.
• Set the hour from your airline's check-in deadline, not the take-off time: about 40 minutes of road, a little more on a theme-park show evening, then the margin you want at the terminal.
