Antalya Airport to Tuvana Hotel transfer
Tuvana Hotel is at Karanlık Sokak 18 in Tuzcular, the northern part of Kaleiçi just inside the walls, which puts it near the top of the old town rather than down by the water. Measured on the map, the Tekeli Mehmet Paşa Mosque is about 100 metres from the door, the clock tower at Kalekapısı roughly 140, the Yivli Minaret under 200 and Hadrian's Gate around 210. The old harbour lies some 400 metres off in a straight line, and further on foot, because the lanes zigzag and step down the slope. The hotel calls itself a boutique house in the historic district.
From Antalya Airport it is 18 km, about 25 minutes. The car heads west into the city and reaches the walls along the avenues that lead to the Kalekapısı square, where Tuzcular begins. That is the advantage of this corner: the hotel sits only a short way inside the walls, so even when the car cannot get right to the door, the walk with the cases is brief. Whether Karanlık Sokak itself is open to a car on the day depends on the access rules for the old town, so the driver goes as far as is allowed and helps with the luggage from there.
